My approach to therapy is based in a client centered, trauma informed, and culturally sensitive framework that draws from a variety of theoretical orientations. My treatment is individually tailored to each client. I may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, or Humanistic modes to meet your needs and achieve your goals.
My training includes the Gottman Method for couples therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Seeking Safety Treatment, Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring conditions, issues pertaining to living with HIV, as well as LGBTQ related issues.
As a seasoned clinician, consultant, and trainer, my experience includes working with schools and community agencies, alcohol & drug treatment facilities, and residential treatment centers. I have worked with civilian and military individuals, couples, and families.
